Hi, friends!!! In case you forgot (which I’m sure you didn’t because I talk about it ALL the time), I GOT ENGAGED! We have picked the venue, dress, and photographer. Now, it is time to pick the maids! To do this, I paired up with Advil® to bring my girls a necessity for all of the headaches they will sure to be getting during this process. Here is how I created a super simple, yet cute, bridesmaid box for my girls!

To start with, I went to Michael’s to get the boxes. It was so hard to find cute boxes for this. I did not want to paint a box or do a lot of work to the actual box, so I was on a mission. I eventually found the cutests black and white boxes! I also bought some pink ribbon to attach to the top of the box.

After hot gluing a must needed ribbon on, I moved onto the details. I added some white confetti stuffing to the bottom of the box. Next up, I designed some pretty cards for the box. I knew I wanted a gorgeous card that was still simple. For the bridesmaid box, I wanted to ask them to be their specific part, and have a card for their role! My friends are amazing, so I wanted the process to seem just as great.

My sister is still super young, so I asked her to be my Junior Maid of Honor! That way, she still gets MOH duties, but will have some help, too.diy bridesmaid box

Next, I wanted to give the girls something to help with the anticipated stress and headaches that will come from the wedding planning, bridesmaid dress shopping, and whatnot. I decided the Advil® Liqui-Gels® minis 160ct were perfect for that! Fast, powerful pain relief now in a smaller, easier to swallow size and are 33% smaller! It is perfect for pain relief. Check out this product on Target.com! Also, from10/29-11/18 get 5% off through Cartwheel.

After the Advil® packets, I filled each box with goodies each girl would like. Now, it is time to ask them and hope they want to be in the wedding on our special day! PS. We have changed the wedding date, so it is going to be earlier than September 15!

Come Dress Shopping!!! | Wedding Wednesday

Who else is pumped it is already Wednesday?! I can’t wait for the weekend and lots of snuggles. A couple of weeks ago, I said yes to the dress!!! Although I am not sharing the dress I chose, I am showing you some of the dresses I tried on. We went shopping at Cloud Nine Bridal. Prior to our trip here, we went to some other bridal shops, but honestly, they weren’t very helpful. We met with Ashley for our consultation and try on, and she was AMAZING. She knew my vision and really made me feel comfortable.

Venue Shopping and a New Wedding Planner | Wedding Wednesday

wedding planner

Guys. I am exhausted. For the past two weeks we have been looking for the perfect venue to have our wedding. Some venues would not give us a price over the phone or email, so we had to take trips to view them. Others were ones we loved from photos, but once we arrived the price was ridiculous. If you saw my Instagram stories yesterday, you noticed my frustration. Oh, if you’re not following me, start to here! I talked to you guys about how expensive wedding venues are. After adding in sales tax and extra required expenses by venues, I could literally put a down payment on a house or buy a brand new car. Ridiculous. I can’t wait to marry Jake, but this whole process is stressful. Here are a couple of the venues we looked at:
