A few months ago I wandered into a boutique in a town near mine (Geneseo), and I was captivated by everything they had. Then, I saw the motherload of happiness. Loose. Leaf. Tea. Do you know how hard it is to find some good tea in the middle of BFE when the closest Teavana is almost 3 hours away? It’s freakin’ hard, y’all. So, let’s just say I fell in love with Designs On The Boulevard. I posted a picture on Instagram of their tea, and bam, Corey contacted me and wanted me to try some products. He gave me some, and here are my first impressions and opinions!
To start with, I smelled the candle. Corey had already told me it was espresso, and I was extremely skeptical. As a tea lover, the coffee smell isn’t my top choice. However, I fell in love. There is a reason this smell is their number one seller – it is amazing. It masks any smell you have going (dog toots) and it lasts sooooo long. I stopped burning mine at 10 PM and I still could smell it at noon the next day. Amazing.
Up next, Corey gave me some tea to try. This is a green tea with jasmine. I adore green tea. It blends so well with fruity flavors, which I love. I brewed this tea with a little honey and oh, my lanta. It was spectacular. It tasted smooth and the jasmine was not super overwhelming at all. 10/10 would buy.
I also was given some Lafco samples to try. They are so silky smooth and most smell pleasant.
Lastly, debatably the most important part, the chocolate. Sea. Salt. Carmel. Let’s just say I could have used a few treadmill runs after trying this baby.
I highly, highly recommend Designs on the Boulevard and their products! I’ll let you know if my mind changes at all! Until next time,
